Forum for Prison Abolition invites you to an evening in Folkets Hus focusing on prison abolition and exchange of ideas and experiences with organizing for prison abolition.

The event features a talk by Justin Piché on lessons from campaigns to stop the construction of new prisons included in the book “How to Abolish Prisons.”

Pichés talk will be followed by a roundtable with members from the Forum for Prison Abolition about the recent push to significantly expand prison capacity in Denmark and how we can organize to halt these effort while also working towards decarceral futures.

We will end the formal part of the event at 19 but invite you to stay and chat over a bit of food afterwards.
