This zine was the product of an encounter between the Forum for Prison Abolition, the Coalition Against Punishment, Scotland, and Glasgow Prisoner Solidarity. We met across different sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow exchanging experiences, ideas, and knowledge about the struggle against punitive carcerality in both countries. Common to Denmark and Scotland is a myth of progressiveness and exceptionality when it comes to punishment. Our collective experiences debunk that myth.
